This LISP Operations Manager role is Cape Town-based.

THE ROLE
As LISP Operations Manager, you will oversee end-to-end unit trust reconciliations including daily dealing, cash movements, monthly financial close, tax reporting, and audit outcomes, while driving accuracy, control, and automation through third-party systems and process improvement.
In parallel, you will lead client service recovery and complaints handling, ensuring effective investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and enhanced governance to improve client outcomes. You will also manage operations support teams delivering exception handling, quality assurance, project execution, and change initiatives, with a strong focus on cross-functional leadership, operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement across multiple high-risk, business-critical functions.
REQUIREMENTS
BCom in a finance-related field
5+ years’ operations management experience in the financial services industry, specifically in a LISP/asset management environment
Expert-level knowledge of unit trust operations, pension funds & linked life insurance rules, financial/tax reporting controls, and specialist client recovery/complaints handling processes
