This is an excellent opportunity for a SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER to define, strategise, and enhance consumer-facing digital products for the global leader in the HealthTech and Wellness sector.

 

Based in CAPE TOWN, this SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER role offers a salary of R1.5M – R1.7M.

 

This position will provide you the opportunity to work cross-functionally at scale, experiment with new features and business models, and directly impact both user experience and business outcomes.

 

It’s ideal for someone looking to accelerate into a Product Director role, while gaining expertise in digital transformation, health/wellness tech, and outcome-driven product leadership.

THE ROLE:

As SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER you will own a defined product value stream that shapes a real part of the consumer journey. You’ll work as part of a cross functional squad to understand genuine problems, unlock opportunities and turn them into tangible outcomes.

You will combine insight, data, creativity and experimentation to move from idea to impact, balancing discovery with delivery in order to ship experiences that are valuable, usable and commercially meaningful. This involves creating clarity, momentum and focus and you’ll bring Design, Engineering, Data and Operations together so that the team delivers digital experiences that truly make a difference in consumers lives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Define and own the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product domain.
  • Use market, user and business insights to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation and differentiation.
  • Shape and evolve the commercial model of your domain including pricing, packaging and value proposition where relevant.
  • Ensure solutions are designed for global scalability and a consistent app experience across markets.
  • Lead discovery with Design and Engineering to validate problems and shape solutions that are valuable, usable and viable.
  • Translate insight into clear product definition including user stories, PRDs and acceptance criteria.
  • Advocate for consumer experience while balancing scale, feasibility, cost and business value.
  • Partner with Engineering to plan, execute and ship high-quality releases, removing blockers and enabling delivery momentum.
  • Track OKRs and product metrics, evaluate outcomes and iterate to maximise consumer and business impact.
  • Make smart use of core organisational platforms and technologies (for example CRM or loyalty) to amplify value within your domain.
  • Work collaboratively across business functions and external partners to align initiatives and strengthen results.
  • Continuously improve product practices, tooling and ways of working within your squad and the wider product organization.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

At least 5 years of experience in a Product Owner/Product Manager role.

Experience managing a consumer-facing digital product or feature set end-to-end.

Comfortable moving between discovery and delivery - insight-led decision making.

Experience with product discovery tools & techniques (experiments, prototyping, testing).

Strong analytical skills - able to interpret data and influence decisions.

Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Data).

Familiarity with modern product tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Figma, Firebase etc.).
