This is an amazing opportunity to join this award-winning instant payment platform and develop the overall sales strategy for South Africa’s fastest growing instant payments provider.
This Head of Growth role is Cape Town-based (hybrid) with a basic CTC of R2,4 million per year and uncapped commission based on revenue targets.
To succeed in this role, you need to be a payments industry specialist, with a network of c-suite decision makers at high-volume merchants, enterprise retailers, e-commerce platforms, and marketplace operators.

THE ROLE
As Head of Growth, you will develop and execute the overall sales strategy, lead and grow a high-performing sales team, acquire and onboard new merchants, convert pipeline into active revenue, maintain strong client relationships, track and optimise sales performance, and expand market share in South Africa’s payments sector.
REQUIREMENTS
- Commercial degree, MBA advantageous
- 8 years’ sales or growth leadership experience with a proven history of revenue target achievement
- Extensive FinTech experience with a strong understanding of payment solutions
- Proven experience acquiring, onboarding, and upscaling high-volume merchants
- Demonstrable experience building & leading sales teams
- Strong network across e-commerce, retail, or similar high-transaction sectors
- Experience using sales analytics to leverage data-driven sales strategies
