This Fund Operations Manager role is based in Cape Town and offers up to R900K per annum.
THE COMPANY
This UK-based venture capital advisory firm focuses on companies emerging from world-leading scientific institutions, including spinouts tied to academic research and deep tech innovation. THE ROLE
As Fund Operations Manager, you will support the end-to-end financial operations of multiple offshore private equity funds and the advisory entity. This includes oversight of fund administrator deliverables, preparation of internal financials, and execution of investor and regulatory reporting:
- Manage monthly and quarterly fund deliverables: NAV validation, trial balance review, capital account reconciliations
- Lead drawdown and distribution workflows: contribution calculations, investor notices, and capital tracking
- Produce management accounts for the advisory group, including intercompany and related-party reconciliations
- Oversee investor reporting cycles: carry accruals, NAV build-ups, and statement generation
- Coordinate audit processes across fund and advisory entities, ensuring ledger-to-report alignment and audit pack completeness
- Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will serve as their second-in-command, with the opportunity to grow into a key stakeholder as the firm expands.
