This is an amazing opportunity for a Business Intelligence/BI Developer with financial services experience to improve business strategy and long-term operations processes by analysing, designing, and building BI solutions to support this financial services leader’s business operations.

This Business Intelligence Developer role is Cape Town-based with a CTC of R650K per annum.

THE ROLE 

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and building BI solutions to support both operational and strategic business goals. You will gather and analyse requirements to translate them into technical specifications, ensuring the solutions meet business needs. Your role will involve combining fragmented data sources into a unified model, ensuring data consistency, and providing a single source of truth.

Using tools like Power BI or Qlik, you will create interactive reports and dashboards that offer insights into business performance, highlight trends, and identify areas for process improvement. Your work will enable data-driven decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to achieving the company’s strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

BSc/relevant degree (or equivalent work experience)

3+ years as a BI Developer/Analyst

Extensive Power BI/Qlik experience

Financial services industry experience

Advanced SQL skills

BI certifications will be advantageous
