This is a Cape Town-based Compliance Consultant role offering a CTC up to R450K per year.

THE ROLE

 As Compliance Consultant, you will design and implement compliance frameworks to ensure the company meets all legal and regulatory requirements in the investment industry. You’ll create frameworks that align with the rules governing investment portfolios, making sure everything stays compliant.

You’ll work closely with teams to help them apply these frameworks, prepare reports for regulators, and keep all documentation in order. On top of that, you’ll identify and address compliance risks, making sure any issues are resolved quickly to protect the company’s reputation. Your insights will help the company’s objective of using compliance as a competitive advantage to drive long-term business growth.

REQUIREMENTS

Legal/compliance degree

3+ years’ experience as a Compliance Consultant/Compliance Officer/Compliance Manager

Investment industry experience

Expert FICA/FATCA knowledge

Client/fund onboarding experience
