Great opportunity for a Jnr SQL Developer to join a global wealth and investment management company and learn database optimization techniques.

This Junior SQL Developer opportunity is fully remote from anywhere in South Africa and offers a salary between R400K – R425K.

THE ROLE:

As a Junior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for database design, SQL query development, database optimization, data integrity maintenance, database administration, troubleshooting and collaboration with software developers, BA’s and project managers to understand data needs and translate them into database solutions. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

1-2 years of experience as SQL Developer.

Experienced with database management systems, data modelling and data analysis.

Programming language proficiency with either C#, Python or Java.

Beneficial skills include Source Control (GIT), PowerShell, Azure SQL Server and any financial markets or financial services experience.
