1-Year contract opportunity for a Business Analyst with banking experience, to be part of large, high-risk and complex projects. 

This CONTRACT Business Analyst opportunity is based in Johannesburg and offers between R450 and R550 per hour.

The Role:
As a Business Analyst, you will leverage your deep practical experience to work closely with stakeholders across our organization. Your primary focus will be on large, high-risk projects that require meticulous planning, analysis, and communication. You will be responsible for understanding the needs, problems, and opportunities within the organization, and recommending solutions that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct iterative planning and monitoring tasks to coordinate BA efforts on complex initiatives.
• Elicit and analyze stakeholder information to define business needs.
• Manage requirements throughout their life cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Perform strategy analysis to outline future states and scope of solutions.
• Evaluate solutions to optimize performance and eliminate constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using IIBA best practices, agile methodologies, and lean principles.
• Create visual diagrams and models to communicate processes, data flows, and project dependencies.
• Support development and QA teams in identifying test cases and conducting user acceptance testing.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels to foster strong relationships for effective discovery and delivery.
• Lead program ceremonies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
• Tertiary IT qualification,
• Certificate in Business Analysis,
• SAFE Certification preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in Business Analysis with a strong track record of managing multiple IT projects.
• Experience in complex business environments, particularly in banking (Collections & Recovery, Credit & Risk Management, Payments, Wealth Products) is a MUST.
• Proven Agile experience beyond basic story writing in tools like Jira and Confluence is a MUST.
