Cape Town-based, the CTC for this Software Developer role is R840K per annum.

THE ROLE 
As software developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable serverless applications, primarily using NodeJS in an AWS environment. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining APIs, integrating systems, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases for high performance.

You'll also manage code using Git, participate in Agile processes like sprint planning and daily stand-ups, and troubleshoot any system issues. Your expertise in AWS and serverless architecture will be crucial in shaping the technical direction of the projects & cloud migration efforts going forward.    

REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in backend development with NodeJS.
Proficiency in designing and deploying serverless architectures, preferably on AWS.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including database optimization and management.
Strong understanding of API development and integration.
Proficient in source control tools like Git.
Experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
