Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg, this position is 100% remote offering R720K per annum.

THE ROLE

As the Scrum Master, you will facilitate the Agile development process across four development teams. Your role includes defining project scope and requirements, creating and maintaining the product backlog, and prioritizing tasks. You will lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure seamless team collaboration and efficiency. Coaching the team in Agile principles and Scrum practices, you will help them adopt and refine these methodologies.

Your responsibilities also include identifying and removing any obstacles that may impede the team's progress, ensuring all team members are aligned and working towards common goals. Additionally, you will track and report on team velocity and progress, providing valuable insights to drive continuous improvement.

THE REQUIREMENTS

At least 4 years of scrum master experience

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or computer science

Agile Certification

Proven experience facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings

Experience coaching the team in Agile principles and Scrum practices
