Based in cape town this role is paying up to R800K per annum

Africa’s LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP is looking to expand, they are currently driving complex data projects to increase the scale at which they cater investment solutions to their clients locally and INTERNATIONALLY; they are launching key strategies to bolster their provision of wealth management solutions for the broader market.
THE ROLE
As the Cyber Security Consultant (Operations), you will be responsible for overseeing and manage key components of the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure. This includes maintaining and optimizing the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), anti-virus systems, vulnerability management processes, security configuration management, firewall compliance, web and email content filtering, data leakage prevention measures, network access management, and privileged account management.
Your role involves implementing robust security measures, monitoring threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and mitigating risks to safeguard the organization's digital assets and sensitive information.
THE REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 – 5 years in hands on technical experience which includes:
Network experience (TCP/IP, Firewalls, IPS, NAC)
Operating System management and Hardening (Windows, Linux, CIS hardening baselines)
Anti-Virus System management and Configuration
Data Leakage Prevention tool configuration
Logical Access Management (AD, PAM)
Information Security Operations (Security+, CISSP will be beneficial)
Vulnerability Management (use of well-known vulnerability scanning tools and interpretation of CVSS scores)
