Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Manager to lead large-scale SAP-driven initiatives within one of South Africa’s most advanced industrial operations.

This Programme Manager role is based in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth with an hourly rate of R900 per hour. It is a 6-month contract with a very high chance of renewal.

THE COMPANY
This business is a major player in the global automotive sector, with deep local roots and an integrated manufacturing and export operation. SAP forms the backbone of their enterprise systems, powering logistics, finance, production, and procurement. As part of an ongoing digital transformation programme, they are investing heavily in enterprise IT upgrades to drive efficiency, compliance, and performance.

THE ROLE
As Programme Manager, you’ll lead enterprise-wide transformation programmes with a strong SAP focus by overseeing projects across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. You’ll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage programme budgets, and align global system architecture with local execution. This is a strategic leadership role that balances high-level governance with hands-on delivery and change enablement.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field (SAP certification a plus)

8+ years’ experience in programme management

Proven success delivering SAP programmes (S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, etc)

Strong stakeholder management 

Background in automotive/manufacturing/logistics environments
