This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Designer to lead the end-to-end user experience strategy for a first-of-its-kind agricultural procurement platform, backed by South Africa’s leading digital media group.
This Product Designer role is based in Cape Town (hybrid), paying R600K-720K PA.

Their core offering encompasses geolocation tracking, supply chain traceability, performance analysis, and financial services solutions under a single platform that will allow producers unprecedented productivity increases.

THE ROLE:
As the Product Designer, you’ll take full ownership of the design function, shaping intuitive, user-focused experiences across the procurement platform. You’ll lead user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and design workflows that streamline complex procurement processes for buyers and suppliers.
You’ll collaborate with developers to ensure your designs are implemented accurately, balancing user needs with technical constraints. As the platform evolves, you’ll establish and maintain a consistent design system to support scalability and visual cohesion.
As the sole designer in a growing team, you’ll play a critical role in defining the product’s usability and experience, directly influencing the product experience at a strategic level.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience designing UX for web-based products, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments
Strong portfolio showcasing user flows, prototypes, and design systems
Proficiency in Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Comfortable designing for complex workflows and translating them into simple, intuitive interfaces
Solid understanding of responsive design and how interfaces translate to code (HTML/CSS/React exposure is a bonus)
