Based in Johannesburg this 12-Month contract is offering R450PH – R500PH

THE ROLE

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performing server systems that underpin the company's operations. Your work will ensure robust and efficient IT infrastructure through tasks such as server management, infrastructure design, security measures, and incident response. Collaborating closely with network engineers and application developers, you'll also handle seamless integration of systems, resolve compatibility issues, and act as a technical escalation point to support a stable, secure environment for business needs.

THE REQUIREMENTS

At least 8 years of experience 

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.

Proficiency in server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python), and both Windows and Linux server operating systems.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
