Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg (Hybrid), this opportunity is offering up to R720K per annum

THE ROLE

 

As the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for developing specialized

solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Email, Mobile, and Ad Studio), Salesforce Personalization, and Data Cloud to develop digital marketing services. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to gather business requirements and design technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on scripting, data mapping, API development, and the creation of custom reports and applications.

 

You will engage in scripting and query development while concentrating on data mapping and extraction strategies. Assisting with web services and API development will be a vital aspect of your role, as will creating HTML for emails and web pages using SFMC (salesforce marketing cloud) scripting languages such as AMPScript and XSLT. Additionally, you will support custom application development projects and reporting initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Tertiary Degree (BSc, BCom or equivalent)

Marketing technology experience (such as marketing data, production, content management, planning, implementation, various channel use - e.g. email, web, mobile etc., CRM, Audience Management and Analytics)

Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience or equivalent

At least 3 years’ experience with programming languages (.NET, JAVA, PHP, JavaScript) 

At least 3 years’ Web Development experience (HTML, PGP/GPG, CSS, XML, Web Services, etc.) 

Deep experience with SQL and relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL)

API programming experience
