This is a Johannesburg-based position, paying a CTC of R1,2 million per annum.

THE ROLE
As a Project Governance Specialist, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects by managing governance frameworks, conducting process audits, and performing trend analyses to identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for improvement. You will provide "fit for purpose" execution support, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance the overall health of the project portfolio.

You will also be responsible for facilitating executive portfolio reviews, ensuring accurate governance reporting, and supporting project close-out processes to maintain high standards of project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS
7-10 years of experience in process auditing, project governance, or related fields
Relevant degree, preferentially internal auditing or equivalent
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and familiarity with governance frameworks like COBIT or ITIL
Strong understanding of governance, risk, controls, and project management principles
Proficiency in communication strategies, stakeholder management, and reporting
