Based in Cape Town, Senior Oracle Developer position is offering up to R1.1M and offering a flexible & Hybrid working environment.

THE ROLE:

As the Senior Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for leading a major cloud platform migration using AWS, while streamlining and optimizing this company’s complex data architecture landscape. You will research, design, implement, and maintain business architecture (on-prem and cloud), and select critical components for complex systems. You will be working on large development projects and taking a lead role in designing, coding, testing, and documenting a major cloud migration. 

Your role will include conducting in-depth analysis and design, which involves investigations, documentation, recommendations, and proactive problem-solving. You will contribute to enhancing the speed and quality of this company’s product by keeping up with and implementing the latest Oracle and cloud technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

At least 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

PostgreSQL and AWS experience

Extensive PL/SQL development and database management

Proven experience in Oracle development and database management.

Solid understanding of database architecture.

AWS certification is beneficial.
