This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst with a background in data science, actuarial analytics, or accounting to join South Africa’s most successful financial services leader. You will be tasked with building predictive AI analytics to deploy across the entire group’s business units.
This is a Cape Town-based (hybrid) role, paying up to R1,3 million per annum.

THE ROLE
As Business Intelligence Analyst, you will gather, process, and analyse data to support informed decision-making by automating data collection and reporting processes. You'll use advanced tools and technologies (including SQL and Python), to create automated reports, visualizations, and insights that enhance strategic planning and drive overall performance within the Group Financial Reporting department.
You will document business requirements, optimise workflows, and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement technology solutions designed to meet business needs.
Additionally, you'll build AI capabilities and analytical tools to extract valuable insights from data, ensuring compliance with internal standards and contributing to efficient financial reporting processes.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst
Degree in accounting, actuarial science, or data science
CA certified
Business intelligence or business analysis certification (beneficial)
Expertise with Python and SQL
Experience with financial reporting systems (SAP/Hyperion)
Financial services industry experience
