This is a brilliant opportunity for an IT administrator to manage system infrastructure for South Africa’s leading FMCG company.

This IT Administrator position is based in JOHANNESBURG and is offering up to R800k per annum.

THE ROLE

As the IT Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of this company’s IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass the installation and maintenance of the Microsoft operating system on both virtual and physical. You will be responsible for the Microsoft Active Directory, where you will manage components, such as ADDS, DHCP, DNS, Permission sharing, File Server and scripting.

You will install and maintain servers, switches, routes, firewalls, and configure and manage network peripherals. In addition, you will implement and manage procedures, rules and policies on the Firewall, as well as oversee storage area network/ Fibre channel switches. You will conduct diagnostic tests to optimize computer systems and maintain meticulous documentation of all processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

At least 4 years of experience as an IT Administrator or related domain

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator MCSE, MCSA, MCP or Cisco

ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Firewall certification is advantageous.
