This is a phenomenal opportunity for an ACCOUNTING MANAGER to take the helm of the accounting function, leading international finance, audit management, and financial planning for the LEADING South African FMCG business.
This opportunity is based in JOHANNESBURG and is paying up to R1.4M Per Annum.

THE ROLE
As the ACCOUNTING MANAGER you will take responsibility for the Accounting Function, using your analytical finance expertise to drive several critical functions. You will use your expertise in corporate finance, corporate taxation, and audit preparation & management to optimize this leading FMCG business’s financial operations – including international finance, audit management, and financial planning.
Your critical responsibilities will include:
Managing tax compliance – corporate tax, provisional tax, VAT, and all SARS communication.
Managing the full audit lifecycle (internal & external) – preparing audit reports for the MD & Board of Directors, further running annual audits with external auditors.
Managing import/export financial documentation.
Developing and maintaining reliable cash flow projections & managing working capital.
Leading negotiations with banks and foreign financial institutions.
THE REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/ Related Field
At least 5 years’ experience in Financial Accounts Management
Strong FMCG industry experience
Strong knowledge of corporate tax & managing audits
Experience in JDE/other ERP systems, & Microsoft Suite
Completed articles is advantageous.
