This is an excellent opportunity for a SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR to drive DB Administration for Africa’s LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES Institution, with INTERNATIONAL establishment you will gain LARGE SCALE critical SQL platform and SDLC exposure as they expand the scale at which they cater wealth management solutions across Africa.

This permanent position is paying up to R1M Per Annum and is based in CAPE TOWN (hybrid).

Africa’s LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP is looking to expand, they are currently driving complex data projects to increase the scale at which they cater investment solutions to their clients locally and INTERNATIONALLY; they are launching key strategies to bolster their provision of wealth management solutions for the broader market.

THE ROLE:

As the SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of new databases, installing and configuring database management systems (DBMS), ensuring a seamless and efficient MSSQL database environment throughout the SDLC. You will further advise key developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirement and optimization of the MSSQL DBMS system.

Tech Stack: SQL Server, Agile, Windows LDAP, Kerberos, REST, SOAP, ODBC, JDBS, ODBO.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Relevant Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

MCDBA or Relative Database Administration certification

Strong knowledge of SQL Server (Up to SQL Server 2019) & SQL Administration

At least 3 years’ experience working on MSSQL DBMS systems.
