Job Description

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with extensive Data Centre implementation & maintenance experience to work for a leading South African Financial Institution in a contract capacity.

This contract role is 6 months and can be based in either Cape Town or Johannesburg.

This 6-month independent contract is paying up to R800 per hour.

THE ROLE
As Data Centre and Infrastructure Engineer, your focus will be on the operation, maintenance, and management of IT infrastructure in the company’s locations. 

Your duties will also include operational responsibility of data centre infrastructures, including taking on a lead capacity in site-specific operations and activities. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
5+ Years infrastructure engineering experience
5+ Years financial services experience
Expert knowledge of data centre infrastructure requirements
