Job Description

This 12 Month CONTRACT Junior Project Manager position is REMOTE based in Cape Town or Johannesburg, offering up to R300 PH (R600K per annum).

This is a phenomenal opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to work in a truly Agile environment, enhancing your expertise driving a LARGE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME, working with the leading financial services institution in Southern Africa.  

THE COMPANY

Working in a truly AGILE environment, you will join a highly skilled team that has recently embarked on a 3-YEAR MAJOR TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME. Working remotely, the programme kicks off with an initial 2-year build phase concluding with a 1-year product migration phase.

THE ROLE

As the Junior Project Manager you will join a highly skilled cross functional team who will be responsible for the delivery of a large and complex transformation programme. You will facilitate critical stand-ups with various team members, using Azure Dev Ops in driving delivery plans, consolidating administration, as well as in query writing and administration.

You will gain strong experience working within a dynamic team of experts delivering high risk transformation projects.

THE REQUIREMENTS 

At least 3 years insurance industry experience  
PMP Certification or Scrum Certification
Strong Confluence experience 
Strong Azure Dev Ops Admin experience. Admin and Query writing experience
Must have Excel and/or Power BI Reporting experience from ADO Data
Must be able to facilitate Stand-ups with various Team Members using Azure Dev Ops Delivery Plans
