This is a brilliant opportunity for a Data Warehouse Developer Work on large-scale & complex migration projects while managing the end-to-end data delivery lifecycle for the world’s largest wealth tech platform with 650 of the largest investment and asset managers globally.

 

Based in Cape Town OR Johannesburg this Senior Migrations Developer position is offering between R1.4M – R1.6M per annum.

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will join a global team working on large-scale data migration projects for the leading FinTech PAAS. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end data delivery lifecycle across key migration projects, while working with working with Big Data to design, develop and maintain ETL processes.

 

You will have the opportunity to design and implement complex client focused data mapping solutions in line with the migration SDLC. While producing technical migration outputs, such as data models, data mapping definitions and data validation rules in line with the target product and client migration requirements.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

 

At least 4 -5 years commercial industry experience

Extensive experience with big data designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process.

Experience Designing and developing ETL (SSIS, SQL) workflows.

Experience Designing, Creating, and maintaining SSIS packages to migrate data.

Strong SQL Expertise
