Job Description

This is a 12-Month CONTRACT opportunity for a Digital/Marketing SYSTEMS ANALYST to join the Customer Experience Features Team, within SA’s LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUPS.

 

Based in CAPE TOWN (hybrid/remote) this 12-month SYSTEMS ANALYST CONTRACT role offers a rate of R700/hour – R750/hour.

THE ROLE:

As SYSTEMS ANALYST you will:

Own the outcome of the technical enablement requirements and provision the stated artefacts into the development team. These artefacts are identified, but not limited to: API documentation, Database definitions, web services, integration layers and technical components enabling business functionality.

Must be able to articulate and lead development team refinement sessions to enable development team member understanding to facilitate delivery from a technical enablement perspective.

Engage with Business Analyst to ensure business and technical requirements are aligned and consumable by the development team. Collaborate with Business Analyst to ensure that the artefacts delivered are supporting the User Stories end to end.

Attend and collaborate in daily stand-ups, sprint refinement, sprint planning, retrospective and reviews.

Accountable for feature and deliverable sign off in a pre-production environment.

Document non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Business Analysts to form part of development team user stories.

Documentation of technical solutions, implementations, and dependencies.

Liaise with any integration teams inside and outside of the UEX programme.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

High level of technical expertise and broad knowledge of software and programming.

Excellent analytical skills.

A methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind and attention to detail.

Good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail.

Ability to analyse business process issues and provide consulting assistance to system users.

Ability to conduct research on possible solutions and make recommendations based on findings.
