Your package will consist of an excellent base salary plus an excellent commission & bonus scheme. Deals in this space are typically worth millions of dollars, and the commission on these deals is very lucrative.
Global software vendor & consultancy with a well established footprint in SA. They have offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town and employ over 160 skilled consultants across both locations. Your focus will be HUNTING FOR NEW BUSINESS IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA, selling banking technology into LARGE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. You will need to have strong product knowledge and competitive intelligence in order to introduce new products to the market. Your specific duties will include developing of sales plans and strategies, identifying & contacting new prospects, proposal preparation, and negotiation & closing multimillion dollar sales.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Candidates who meet either one of the below profiles will be considered:
• Experienced Software Sales Executive with prior experience in the Financial Services, Capital Markets or Electronic Trading space
• Proven track record meeting & exceeding sales targets
• Financial Markets professional with 5+ years experience working in a brokerage or bank
• Good understanding of electronic trading, market making, exchange connectivity, or similar
• Client facing or sales experience
• Strong entrepreneurial drive & business acumen
