With a passion for education, your results-driven and highly personable attitude is what this company is looking for. Consulting to existing and potential customers, you will drive delivery of the implementation process whilst maintaining an exceptional level of service.
With ambitions of becoming a world leader in online learning using the very latest technologies, this company is already delivering to an impressive list of clients in over 40 countries. Having completed many projects since the early nineties, at enormous global financial services and consulting firms, this specialist software company continues to pick up numerous awards for their ongoing commitment to education. Indeed, they invest heavily in relentless development of their staff through sponsored external education and training whilst fostering an incredibly supportive environment.
Development of the software is one thing, winning the business is another but rolling that software out to newly won clients whilst supporting and maintaining existing relationships take it to another level. Arguably, one of the most important jobs in any software development business and this is no different. Your exceptional communication skills and learning platform product knowledge will be used to consult to a wide range of global brands to ensure smooth sailing for all implementation projects. You will advise customers on how they can get the best out of their new system whilst spotting opportunities to upsell when possible. Whilst this isn't a highly technical position, you have to be able to understand the technologies that are being used and be a subject matter expert in Moodle or Totara. Remember, you'll be representing the brand but more importantly, you will be the expert in the product being rolled out.
WHAT WILL YOU GET OUT OF IT:
Implementation Engineers play a pivotal role. For this reason, scope for career progression at this company is high. Rise through the ranks and you have the opportunity to become a Senior and then Lead Implementation Engineer. For someone with an excellent worth ethic and a commitment to ensuring a first class implementation service, the latter is entirely achievable. In return for your expertise, you'll be joining one of the E-learning market leaders that has a genuine desire to make sure its clients and its staff are happy. To this end, you get the latest kit to work on, a stonking 35 days annual leave and if you're still in need of some pampering, they throw in an actual Wellbeing Programme!
The learning platforms are Moodle and Totara - you must have experience in one of these - both ideally.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are imperative as is being able to converse with both technical and non-technical audiences. It is a Customer focused role so you need to be highly adept at this level of engagement obviously.
There will be pressure - however, you will have the ability to remain measured and calm whilst continuing to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
