SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER – gain ARCHITECT & DESIGN exp with Digital Investment Business. Cape Town, R800k – R850k p/a 


This is an excellent opportunity for a SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER to GAIN ARCHITECT and DESIGN experience for a newly established Digital Investment Business. 


As the SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER, you will be working on a massive Investment Platform Migration Project. 


Based in Cape Town, this SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER role is paying R800k – R850k p/a with benefits. 


The Role: 

  • As the SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER, you will need to analyze business requirements and decide on best ETL techniques to extract data from multiple sources. 

  • Extracting Data using SSIS or similar ETL tool from multiple databases. 

  • Build all Reports using SSRS or QlikView and link them up to MI and BI tools ( PowerBI, Tableau) 

  • Assist with all technical architectural design and implementations 

  • Optimize Data integration platforms 

  • SQL Query writing 

  • Assist with all data monitoring implementations, ensuring that the environment is compliant to industry data governance and data quality regulations.

Skills & Experience required: 

  • Degree or Diploma in IT / Computer Science 

  • Excellent MS SQL, MS SQL Database experience including very strong SSIS or similar ETL tool 

  • T-SQL or PL/SQL coding experience 

  • Data Warehouse development experience - development and maintenance of large-scale databases. 

  • Solid Report and Query writing skills. 

  • Working knowledge of PowerBI stack
